LFW, Twenty8Twelve, Autumn '09

Another show I really liked was Twenty8Twelve. Okay, so there might not have been anything particularly ground-breaking, it was all exactly kind of stuff I'd love to wear all-day, every-day. It was like an up-market Topshop, the kind of things you could see London cool-kids like Alexa and Pixie wearing. Everything was stylish and on-trend, just like Savannah and Sienna Miller said they were aiming for.
My favourite pieces were the leggings, denim hotpants (oh, i hate that word!) super-skinny skinnies, leather jackets and beanies. :)

Erdem at London Fashion Week

Well I haven't really had too much time to look at many of the shows, even though style.com does have great coverage.(photos from there)

Out of what I saw, my favourite was definitely Erdem.
It wasn't quite as pretty and flouncy as other seasons, there was red, and black, and it was all a little more structured, but still absolutely gorgeous. And there was lace, which I've become a little obsessed with after Prada did it, so I'm really happy its still around this season.
These are a few of my favourites.
I hope you like them as much as I do, and that there'll be some Topshop knock-offs some-time soon!

Tim Walker.

Tim Walker.
Your photos amaze me. They really are the stuff of dreams. I'd sell my soul for a walk in your world.

Poetry

You are my Lolita.
My secret, guilty pleasure.
We are perfectly suited,
Yet this is still indecent.
I will never be yours,
For we all know you are forever yours.

In my heart this affair will always dwell,
We both know this was a forced farewell.
This decision is final, you will not be my demise.
My reputation cannot stand the rumour and lies.

I'm not quite sure where this fits, but whatever. :)

Introduction

Oh jeez, I don't really know what to say now.
Guess, I should have thought about that before setting this up yeah?
Maybe, I'll just introduce myself, or something. And I'll try keep it short, cause I hate long, pointless blogs, and this is certainly pointless.
Well, right now, I'm sitting in my sitting room, on the laptop, on my own.
I'm listening to Kate Nash - The Nicest Thing.
I'm reading The Great Gatsby, and Alice in Wonderland. They compliment each other quite nicely :)
I love most things to do with France, hence the blog title. Hopefully I'll get to live their some day!
I've wanted to set up a blog for a while now, but I didn't have the guts.
Maybe sometime, I'll actually have something decent to say!
Better go now, I think I'm rambling.
